Scarecrow

An over sized look appears quite scary to many. As fashion forward as many of us posses to be, slipping on outfits that don't necessarily accentuate our bodies is often not preferable. But an over sized piece allows for new avenues of creativity. You can play with dimension by tightening the waist with a belt, like I did here. You can add an overwhelming amount of jewelry to flow with the weight of the garment. And never ending folding, tucking, and tying are options too.

An XX large blouse like this one, which I converted into a dress, are so easy to find. Whether you are thrifting or shopping at a department store that only has that one size left, don't let your heart run away without it.

Running through the fields with my new dress was light and exhilarating. Probably scaring several spectators along the way.
