Last day in So Cal
This is a little spread of my last afternoon in Southern California before moving to San Francisco to start a dream and make new ones. Experiences in life should never be taken for granted. That statement may sound basic or cliche but I think its easy to forget about how short our time is here on earth and that having goals and dreams are probably the most important thing to share with our mind, body, and soul. Without these feelings each day would feel lost and inhabited. When a goal is reached I always like to start a new one. Nothing we ever really want will ever be a piece of cake, because the struggle of achieving it is part of the journey. Although I absolutely love my home town San Diego, moving to the Bay Area is the start of a new landscape for me and the connection I have with the future.

Such Fun
I grew some claws after that ride
I haven't been to an amusement park in years. It was glorious day and I decided to break that bleak streak and scream my head out on some rides. Excitement and anticipation build up the best outfits. I kinda sorta threw a little bit of everything in this look. I especially wanted to finally sport these jelly shoes I got over a month ago! And just a little shout out to this amazing floral patten- you are nostalgic and beautiful. #teenvogue

Coachella 2014 was another extraordinary journey. This is my little photo reel of my sun filled, shoulder riding, music blaring, peace sign throwing weekend. I know there is a growing skepticism and spiraling feeling going on with the Coachella culture. It seems as if the veteran festival goers are feeling outnumbered by the newly enlightened 'hipsters' and naive kinds following the hype. I would be lying if I didn't say part of me agrees with this. This is only my second year at this festival and there was some brewing moments for me and my frustration with the crowd. But getting angry and throwing out accusations isn't going to solve the problem. Coachella like any festival is a business, a business that cares about their growth. Yet no matter how far they keep creeping into the mainstream, there is still a magical feeling and area for us true festival goers out there who come for 4 days of camping in the sun and living with art and music. Anything that is successful will begin to attract attention and seem to steer in a dishonest direction. But there is still that special light and feeling once you step onto those polo fields. Finding and staying with that sensation is all we need to keep in mind :).
